Question Service Light

Hi, the Service Light on my 2005 C70 has come on and I’d like to turn it off.

I’ve tried the following, without success:

1. Press and hold trip reset button,
2. Turn on the ignition,
3. Wait for the yellow warning light to start blinking,
4. Release the button and wait for confirmations sound,
5. Turn off the ignition,
6. Turn the ignition back on to check if the service message is gone
.

Anyone got a different solution?
Thanks.

Hi WozzaUK
You could try this link, the procedure seems to be slightly different to yours.

The YouTube version didn't work on my car (C70 2004). I left a comment on the
site stating the following;
1) Press and hold the trip button
2) Turn on the ignition
3) when the service light blinks immediately start the engine without releasing the button and the service light clears.

That way worked for me!
