Default 1800S fuel tank

Does anyone have a drawing of the internal of the 1800 series -fuel tank.
As there are a number of entry and exit options, and a filter in the bottom, I am sure there are considerable baffles and feed pipes within.
Alternatively has anyone had reason to cut open an old one to explore, and has photos?

GP;

Tanks for FI cars are more complicated with fuel return and and anti-slosh compartment...I have no drawings, but some pix here: https://www.sw-em.com/Fuel_Tank_Notes.htm#1800_Tank

Cheers

Comment: The cracks in the Amazon filler tube/tank junction are often caused by a rear end bump, especially if you don't have any over riders. Filler cap sticks out and is very vulnerable.

Ron, that is so helpful, just exactly what I wanted.
Many thanks indeed!

My car has the later style fuel tank from the 1800E.
Is it easy to replace the in-tank fuel filter once one has removed the large threaded plug in the centre of the tanks base?
Do you just use a suitable grip to extract it downwards with a sharp pull?
