1800S fuel tank
Does anyone have a drawing of the internal of the 1800 series -fuel tank.
As there are a number of entry and exit options, and a filter in the bottom, I am sure there are considerable baffles and feed pipes within. Alternatively has anyone had reason to cut open an old one to explore, and has photos? |

Comment: The cracks in the Amazon filler tube/tank junction are often caused by a rear end bump, especially if you don't have any over riders. Filler cap sticks out and is very vulnerable.

My car has the later style fuel tank from the 1800E.
Is it easy to replace the in-tank fuel filter once one has removed the large threaded plug in the centre of the tanks base? Do you just use a suitable grip to extract it downwards with a sharp pull? |
