Fan speed potentiometer

If anyone is looking to replace their fan speed pot to cure problems with intermittent fan speeds, I've just ordered the following and can confirm that it fits and functions perfectly - the picture doesn't show the correct centre hole, but the ones I've just received had the correct shape to fit the shaft on the fan knob:

Also, as they come as a pair I now have a spare - happy to send this on to a member if needed. Post in this thread and PM me your (UK) address if you want it. I probably won't be online again till tonight so don't expect an instant response!

Hi - having used contact cleaner to repair mine a year or so back, it's just started to play up again so a very timely message. PM sent!
