Default What have you done with your Volvo today

This is what I have done this week.
A few days ago I replaced the front and rear brake pads, (I used my ICarsoft Vol 3 to put rear brake calipers to service mode) which makes the job a doddle, I bought the rear pads last year when they were on offer from an online genuine Volvo parts dealer and the genuine front pads last week at a knockdown price of £80 with free postage. Local dealership quoted me £140 for front pads. Daylight robbery.
I gave my XC90 a good looking over and washed it, first wash for months, I cleaned the wheels while I had them off to do the brakes. Looks lovely again.
Today took it for it's MOT which it passed with no advisories so happy days, it's booked in for it's annual service next week and car tax and extended warranty to pay for so another dent in my savings but another year sorted. 7 years old now, that soon passed.

Will be cleaning mine later (if the sun goes in) in preparation for a family holiday to Holland.

2.5hr drive to Harwich, then overnight on the ferry to the Hook of Holland.

Drove 165 miles with an average of 48.5mpg and in the moment traded it in for something that might, if I am lucky and drive very very carefully, achieve half that !
