Default AC Fault

Evening folks, have an AC issue like many with the 850, is there an obd II tool out there tha won’t break the bank I can get to find out what the issue is, it has gas, a new low pressure valve I have done the trick with the clutch and it would engage then disengage fairly quickly, now it won’t even engage, I think am going in the direction of a new compressor, any assistance will be mint,
Regards Eddie

If the clutch kicked in then went out like simmy said check fuse/relay but it won't engage if the gas level is too low either
