Interesting thread as I have a '90 745. Looking through my various stored links it may be possibe that the following companies make the needed heater hose at substantially less than the mega bucks referred to ^^^ if you can find them on an acceptable suppliers website. My choice would be Mackay an Australian firm, APA/URO and Dayco. People decry URO but I fitted a header tank/rad hose some years ago and it's still in good condition.

Sorry for the delay in doing the work on the Hoe. I've got some problems with the Convoy, and I've had to focus on that, and some other things. I'm trying to turn a left side door handle into a right side one. It seemns the drivers's handles are like hens teeth ( every chick starts with an egg tooth, but they drop off fairly quickly). The passenger ones are fairly common, and I bought a good qulaity second hand one for a fiver, but the driver's ones are around £30. With a bit of creativity you can keep old cars running reliably without having to get a second mortgage.
