Need to order a front near side driveshaft as clicking on right hand turns is quite loud, even on auto doc with car details in there is a slight difference in mm but all around the 600mm or just under, anyone changed one and what length do I need

Ignore the quoted lengths, they should all be the same size, and in any case, the driveshaft can change length due to the design of the CV joints...
There are basically four variants of driveshaft – turbo auto, turbo manual, non-turbo auto, and non-turbo manual (don't know if diesels have their own driveshafts, but that doesn't concern you). Just make sure the driveshaft is for turbo cars, and either auto or manual depending on what your car is, and you'll be fine... |

Would it not be possible to replace just the CV joint as opposed to the whole driveshaft?

Much easier to do on the bench rather than on the car, too. Cheers ![]()
