Default fault codes most communication error and crash inputs

XC90 T6 Inscription AWD - 2019

New to Volvo and this forum, love this car. looking for your expert advise on below

mechanically all working normal with my car - no issue but electric throw number of errors on dashboard

key observation

1) seatbelt malfunction

- system fail to recognise that driver seatbelt is on hence warning chime keep ringing and warning sign stay on

- all seatbelt dependent function do not work e.g. cruise control errored Not Available, Driver not belted

2) Car Status messages

- Parking brake temporary unavailable

- Turn indicator malfunction

- Pedestrian protection (city safety)

3) long list of fault codes most communication errors and crash inputs as attached. Accident repair car but no information about what repairs were carried out.

4) left front turn indication is not working but Hazar light work normal.

so far few times dashboard were loaded without any error and Auto start/stop and other functions were start working normal.

I have replaced both batteries as well.

checked by dealer, asking for 4 hours of diagnostics work which will cost me lot £XXX

how should I start and what's the best approach to identify and fix the issues?

thanks

Do you have Volvo Assist? If you do, you can request help thru the app and someone will come out. I just had them out less than an hour ago and they were brilliant. Car’s going in dealership later today with loan car sorted as well.

Similar communication issues with mine with different systems going haywire due to a coding error they said, and will need rebuilding by the dealership.

If you tell them that there’s a fault with the indicator which is obviously a serious issue while driving, they will treat it as urgent and send someone as soon as they can. At least that’s how it was for me.

If you don’t have volvo assist, it’s only £120 for a year, it might be worth signing up. Would be a hell of a lot cheaper than paying £150 per hour for diagnostics and if you’re lucky they can fix it “roadside”, but if not at least the diagnostics side of it could be done for a lot less money.

Hope you get it sorted 🤞🏼

Indicator issue is due to headlight replaced but wasn’t coded for the car (I have same issue)
Most of your issues is due to not being repaired properly you will need to do an obd scan and go from there
