Great work, fingers crossed the prop bearing lasts.
To upload photos on your mobile scroll down slightly when typing a reply and it will say manage attachments (I've attached a screenshot with it circled), then a new page will open and it will allow you to upload five photos at a time. Click choose file and it will bring up a few options (screenshot attached) I then click "media picker" and then you can choose your photos. Once that is done click upload and wait for them to upload and then click close window at the bottom of the page. |

Nice work.
Is that a Bilstein B4 shock? Assuming you have it back together now and its driving, what's your thoughts on the shock comfort wise?

I have B4'S with 40mm lowering springs on all four corners and I really like them. Difficult to tell the difference to standard as they were 25 years old and shagged Handling is a million times better !

Given it 20 miles on loathsome roads today and it is definitely different. You can feel some of the road beneath you and that the suspension is working... The car feels quieter inside but that's because the prop bearing was mince as much as anything. There are a couple of noises that have disappeared. The steering is smoother. I need to retrain my brain as the car has either always felt like it did or gradually got to that point. An example.ofnthis is whilst hitting a.puddle.this mornings I reflexively steered away from the direction the car usually pulls. I need not have done it just ploughs dead ahead. It definitely controls it's weight better BUT the jelly-like ride I had before I unequivocally improved the car was more isolative and sloppier which will take some getting used to. There is nothing rewarding at the bottom of the pedals driving a 940 and as such, my feeling is the softer the better. Time will tell. F |

Yep, you're welcome to come for a ride, although you're about 100 miles away so not exactly a pop over job. I don't let anyone drive my baby though after I let one mate drive it and I could tell he was speeding but a 940 is deceptive so when I looked over at the speedometer and saw just how fast he was driving I went mad.
