164 + 245gle
Just had a trip to a local garden centre near me Kershaws just outside Brighouse and on my way out i spotted a K reg 164 and a 245 GLE both parked in an open shed. Both unusually in the same bronze colour and both in reasonable condition. A project for someone if the owner whoever he may be is willing to sell

It's Kershaws Garden Centre , if you come out of Brighouse on the Hipperhome rd it's on the left.Go into the carpark and follow the one way system .When you are heading back out there's and open barn with both cars parked up.I don't know who owns them or if they are for sale but it seems a shame to let them rot.Not many 245 GLEs about. Good luck

Went to see the cars. They look very saveable. No rusty wings, all complete
inside, the 164 particularly. Stood on hard ground, no grass underneath, barn roof not leaking. The cars belong to someone known to the garden centre, I left my details with them, so we may hear back. There where also several sailing dinghy’s in similar state, so it looks as if the owner got elderly an stopped using everything. Anyone interested could tell me, I took pics an can send on what’s app or email. 07984319748. Email: marc.wigg@gmail.com. |

Great , i was shocked to see them because i went passed a few weeks earlier and never noticed them .I hope someone saves them .I've always wanted a late 1973 big bumper 164E but haven't got the know how or funds to purchase one or renovate either . My dad had a 1973 164E auto in burgundy OKW 757M i think the registration was. I vaguely remember it not being too reliable but it was 10 years old
