Default Trailing arm bush replacement

Hi all, ive had a squeaking noise from under the rear of the car for a while now, i took it to a local garage when i first noticed it and they said it was the trailing arm bush. They couldn't do the replacement as they didn't have a specific tool needed but said its ok to drive but ill need to get it done before the noise drives me potty. Well its certainly starting to do that now. So can anyone recommend a garage fairly local to my location and give me a rough estimate of what it might cost please.
Thanks.

I can't recommend a garage in your location, but an approximate cost for labour would be £150, plus an alignment and VAT. You have to get the car aligned after trailing arms have been replaced.

Ball park figure £240. Add the parts to that, which cost around £120 for decent quality aftermarket ones like Febi. You'd be looking around £350-£400 ish for everything.

I'm quite surprised they don't have the fitting tool, as i believe it is the same bush that is fitted to ford mondeo etc, It is quite a common job on ford /volvo with this type of bush & can be done using the tool without fully removing the arm .

Yeah, its a common tool apparently, my local garage even sent me a link to a Sealey model for £143 inc vat. I think i may have someone that can do it now. Ill update when its sorted.
