Software Updates
I drive an MY24 volvo XC60 B5. I was notified of a software update last weekend which resolves issues with the auto rear collision brake and some "bug fixes". I applied the update. It seemed to take a long time to apply.
Ever since, whenever I start my vehicle the climate control comes on, even if it was switched off when the car was last used. I have spoken to Volvo support who suggest that doing a re-boot on the infotainment will resolve this issue. I have tried it 3 times and it has not resolved the problem. Volvo support say that the car needs to go to the dealer. Has anyone else had this problem - it surely cannot just be me? Is there a fix other than taking it to the dealer? |

Have you tried switching it off then back on again?

XC60 MY24 software update
I have the same problem since the OTA update where the air con turns itself on every time I start the car. Went to the dealer today as their tech said there was another small update available but not OTA. Installed it but no joy so he's raised a ticket with Volvo for a fault.

It seems that in the last update, air conditioning settings were tied to profiles. So if you start the engine, set the ait con etc as you would like it, then press the memory button on the door it saves it in your profile whether on or off.
