VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way
AOL Customers: Make sure you check the 'Remember me' check box otherwise the AOL system may log you out during the session. This is a known issue with AOL.
AOL, Yahoo and Plus.net users. Forum owners such as us are finding that AOL, Yahoo and Plus.net are blocking a lot of email generated from forums. This may mean your registration activation and other emails will not get to you, or they may appear in your spam mailbox

isettaman Junior Member Last Online: Jun 12th, 2024 19:15 Join Date: Apr 2017 Location: Wakefield	Alternator Pulley Replacement Had a nightmare with my V70 2002 with noise from my auxilliary belt. Replaced the power steering pump and tensioner but the noise only got worse. I know I should have checked ALL pulleys at first but I though I knew the origin of the noise! Clever cloggs! Took the belt off and found the alternator pulley jammed and twisted out of itself some how. Ordered a new pulley and an extractor tool. Extractor arrived 2pm yesterday so I removed the old pulley, fortunately no damage to the alternator shaft, installed the new pulley, tough getting the 80nm torque on it. Put the alternator back, replaced radiator top hose, replaced power steering pump, put cover back on the engine control box, refilled fluids and started it up in time to go bowling in the rain! I can now hear the clock ticking again!!
