  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way

Default How to unclip alarm siren please ?

Can someone explain how to me like I am three how to unclip this please.

They are a little awkward, I use a thin long pick to flick the tab up and it will slide out.

Thanks for the reply but I am none the wiser. Do you slide something down into the alarm...im guessing so. Then what, push away from the plug?

You use the pick to flick the tap up that’s on top of the plug and then it releases. Just be careful as you don’t want to snap it off. I also found this YouTube video that shows you the guy removing it with a pick. Skip to around 4 mins.

The video wasn't that clear unfortunately. Had to turn the sound off too. What an annoying bloke
So I have just been out there again for 10 minutes and I still can unclipped it. Please could someone explain exactly. Maybe with arrows on the picture or something ? When it's off I will take photos to help anyone in the future. Thanks

Push a flat item ( screwdriver, spatula etc) 10mm into the gap and lever to release the clip. NO more than 10mm in , or else it'll jam it in place.
