Default Curve Speed Assist Retrofit

Does anyone know if it’s possible to have Curve Speed Assist retrofitted to pre-MY 2019 Sensus cars via a dealer software update? Official line from Volvo Cars is “dunno, ask your dealer”!

I would imagine the answer will be no and it’s probably relates to a Sensus navigation change at MY19 onwards.

Hi, I asked the same question in May 2022 for my 2019 XC60 momentum pro T5 and received the following reply from volvo customer service

Thank you for reaching out to us,
I can confirm the cornering support feature was introduced as an option in 2021. Having checked our accessories page this feature is now only available on our 2021 and onwards cars.
As you have a 2019 model unfortunately it will not be possible to have this feature retrospectively fitted.

Was a genuine query to the group knowledge here, considering the contradictory response I got from Volvo UK. Thanks for making me feel welcome anyway…..

It came as standard on my S60 2020, I didn't think there was that much difference in the 2019 technology to be honest, does the car have pilot assist 2?
