Default LED Lights all round.

Has anyone replaced filaments in the tail lights?

I put LED sidelights in but the units are rated at 21W, so they are as bright as reversing lights. I do however worry about their legality and if they are a bit bright for oncoming traffic.
I have had them in for a week now and had no flashing back, and the were V good in Fog.

The down side of these LEDs is they now make me want to fit HID's.
The £7.49 for the LEDs will now lead me to spending £70 odd quid for a HID kit...

If I fit LEDs to the indicators I suspect I will need a load resistor, any experience?

I have done both of these lighting changes to a C70. The HID kits cost around £50, and take sub 40 mins to fit both sides.

I have the simple blown bulb warning system (an big orange light on the dash rather than the later computer system) and with the kit I have this did not cause this bulb to light. I can think of only 2 reasons for this (as I know the bulb warning system works in my car), either the voltage drop is not enough to trigger the warning or, the ballasts I bought have built in resistance to counter this problem. Altenatively, there is a seller on ebay selling prefabricated inline resistor kits,

Where did you buy them from?

These are the LED's I have.....

And this is an identical HID kit to mine (bear in mind I have H7 bulbs, not sure which you require).....

Mine were in the UK, but I think it was someone who had ordered this kit but got the wrong bulb type.

Default tinted tails

I have the old lenses from the car when I bought it.
As usual for a '96 855 they were opaque so I replaced them with nice clear ones.
I have thought about getting a can of lens tint spray to see if I can make the tatty old lights decent again.

Might Ebay them, or may fit them with LED's behind...
