I should also point out, that given the rampant loonyism taking over the EU... it is very probable that there will be no more unrestricted Autobahns and very possibly as a result of the same no more nurburgring "public days"
Thats also been confirmed by the resident german in our house

I'll be one of the ones going from the north via Hull. We'll be sharing the journey with a few Mitsubishi Evo drivers. Looks like we already have a half dozen on board form the north.
I must stress that this is not intended to be a looney blast across europe, and whilst some of us do intend to fully experience the Autobahns nobody will be left behind no matter how liesurely they intend to go (within reason). Any forum member is perfectly welcome to join us no matter what the vehicle, and it's not compulsory to track your car. There is plenty to do without thrashing your motor round the ring. We're just aiming for an enjoyable road trip to the ring, and an opportunity for a right good drive!

Ok folks, following a lack of availability of local hotels we have altered our plans a bit. We're noe staying at a hotel on the edge of Bonn, 30 miles drive from The Ring (which gives the car's a nice chance to warm up beforehand, and cooldown afterwards!).
http://forums.t5d5.org/index.php?s=&...ndpost&p=13848 Also means there is some other stuff for people to do if they don't want to track every day. Confirmed bookings (vehicles, we have passengers too) so far for this hotel are: s60ben Irf Nunchukhamster and we expect others to follow in the near future. Germany here we come......
