Default Rear Suspension / Bushes

I have noticed a slight knock when travelling over bumps at low speeds. I have also noticed that the rear will try to step out if hitting a bump in the road mid corner.

Are there any known issues with shocks / bushes / mounts at the rear on S40 models? I have come across a previous post that had a similar problem with the issue causesd by leaking shocks.

Mine is a 2005 2.0D.

Rear shockers went on my V50 after 3 years and about 50,000 miles. Knocking and poor handling evident. plus 1 x leaking oil. easily replaced with non volvo gas shockers. dead esay diy job for about £50 per side, (i think. )
I do tow a caravan occasionally which can add extra load / stress to the rear.
Hope that helps.
