Default Location of Fuse for Cigarette Lighter...

I am new to this forum, and am a new owner of a 2004 S60, which I love.

My cigarette lighter is not working, so I cannot charge my mobile phone. I cannot find the location of the fuse to see if that is the problem.

Can anyone help?

Also, I noticed after I registered on this site that it is a UK forum and I am in Canada. I will try to locate a similar forum for North Americans, but in the meantime, if anyone can help, I would be MOST appreciative.

Amerie.

Hi,

I own an 07 V70 and had a similar problem however on my car the sockets are just power sockets and not cigarette lighters [if you know what I mean] but they may well be on the same circuit/fuse

The fuse designation for my in car power sockets was listed in the handbook as:

"Front and rear seat socket"

and was situated under the dashboard on the right hand side of the car [looking forward]

Hope this helps

Cheers D.J.
