1996 Volvo 855 TDI Wagon

I wasn't sure if anybody would be interested in this due to the lack of scene here in Ireland, but as the TDIs are a bit of a hard find nationwide I thought it might grab some attention.

I bought this Volvo last Easter and I now have to sell due to a move to Canada on the 19th. I probably wouldn’t be selling otherwise.

The TDI is a 5 cylinder 140bhp Audi lump which are well known for their durability and longevity. There’s currently 155k on the clock which is just run in for one of these - if you search the forum they are quite highly appreciated! The gearbox on this is a manual.

The body is in great shape for it's age and polishes up fantastic. The body colour is more of a solid rather than a metallic, so it is a lot easier to keep and in my opinion, looks much better than a metallic anyway. There isn't any scratches or paint peel worth noting apart from a small patch on the roof where the laquer has lifted (about 10x2"). The interior is in excellent condition and again, cleans up wonderfully.

The car is very economical; at the minute, I can fill up for about £60-65 and get approx. 500-550 miles from the tank with average driving and regulary using cruise control. It's extremely comfortable on a long journey and the engine provides ample power, especially on the motorway.

There’s plenty of service receipts from the previous owner (ex-Volvo mechanic who self-serviced) and also records from work I’ve had carried out.

Electric windows / mirrors, half-leather interior with heated seats, centre armrest, wood dash trim, cruise control, eggcrate grille, rear sunblind, rare Volvo Uranus alloys, roof bars and some US spec sides lights.

12 months MOT and 6 months Tax.

I need it sold this weekend or early next week, although if your interested from the mainland and can't get over sooner, give me a shout. The car is located in Bushmills, Co. Antrim, Northern Ireland.
