Default 480 turbo lump

hi guys and girls im buying a volvo 480 T lump on friday for my clio 16valver its been running in a clio allready so all the mods have been done to get it running etc i wanted to know of any mods ect to get the most out of the engine thanks chris

the engine is mapped to about 13 psi and 155 bhp but runs at 9 psi and 120 bhp you can unleash some more power by raising the boost to just under the safety cut out at 12 psi .

i take it i have to purchase a manual boost controller to achieve this also have you heard about a richmod for the ecu?

the ignition ecu controls the boost , i used an electronic boost controler and disconnected the control from the ecu ..
The transaxle wont take much more than 155 bhp for long its already uprated by Volvo from the standard renault one ...

Richard uses the nickname Rpruen on the volvo480europe forum. At the mo he stopped modding the ecu's. He trashed his superrichmod 480 and only visits the forum sporadicly. Do a search on rpruen on the forum. Here is the thread about his mishap with his 480.
