Default fog lights all stopped working

hi - i have front and rear fogs on a 1997 V40. just failed MOT as the rear foglights were not working. turns out that the front set don't illuminate either although all were working fine recently. So, none of the lights illuminate and the coressponding dash-board lights also do not appear when the switch is toggled.

checked the fuses in the engine bay and in the driver's foot-well and all seem intact, although none of the fuses were specifcally labelled 'fog lights'. i removed the light switch unit and checked the looms were connected but still no joy.

1) which fuse are the fog-lights using ?
2) how can i test the switch to see if it is at fault ?

any ideas, solutions greatly welcomed.
cheers!

does your horn work?

I think they (fogs and horn) use the same fuse

horn works - just taken the switch to pieces and it seems to be mechanically sound. this could well be a fuse problem...
