Another 960 Estate for sale!
My 960 Estate has just failed the MOT. It’ done 184K miles. Registered December 1995. 4 owners from new. I have had it for 3 years. It has been a great car. It is a dark green metallic with tan leather interior.
Good points: Lots of Volvo Service History from new, book fully stamped till recently and dealer print outs from last 9 years. Tow bar with 2 sockets (I have never used them). Dog guard and load cover. Tan leather interior in good shape. 6 CD changer. All the electrical things work (heated seats, mirrors, sunroof etc). No dents. It has had 2 new front tyres+ new battery (about £200) + new full exhaust+lambda sensors last year last year (£500+)+,normal service items (plugs, oil, oil filter, air filter etc). It has also had new front discs and pads in the last 18 months. The PCV filters were done last month. Bad points: Aircon doesn’t work, tiny chip on windscreen, usual minor supermarket scratches. Drivers seat a bit worn. It has just failed MOT on sidelight bulb (50p?), horn a bit indistinct (£5ish) and CO emissions that are too high £(lots). I don’t think it is head gasket. Probably bores or valve guides. The engine obviously needs attention. I don’t have the time or inclination. It is taxed till end of September. Existing MOT till 20th April Local scrap yard has offered £100 + I can obviously get 5 months tax back on it (about £80). Looking for any better offer. Must go before Monday. Let me know if you are interested. I'll post some pictures when I have figured out how to do it! |

Photos
Here are some photos I took this morning. I have some when the car is dry, but they are too big to post. I should add that it's an auto and a 3 litre.
