I've had one for years in many different cars as it makes a cool digital speedo. Why bother to reply if you can't offer any useful input? I hope they're not all as sad as you on here, as you fit the percieved Volvo-owner stereotype exactly. I only bought the T5 for going to the tip at weekends. I have an new Audi S5 and an Impreza STI for serious driving.

I'd personally recommend seeing your local volvo dealer (as Clan said), because the suggestions given so far are so far off the mark it's untrue, it needs a little bit more than simply connecting the wire to a signal ouput.... - and you are likely to cause serious and expensive damage to your cars electronics doing it any of the above ways.

Take it as you want.
