2003 S40 High Beam Switch
Need info, is the high beam switch for the S40 a maintained contact type, or a momentary (to control a relay) type? My daughter has the car out of town at this time and she tells me that the high beams will not stay on after she pulls the lever. They do work if she holds the switch back. Hopfully I will have the car this weekend and would like to know if I'm looking for a bad switch at the steering column or a bad relay? Thank you !

RE: 2003 S40 High Beam Switch
On my S40 if the light switch is at 0 the main beam will only flash, to use the main beam as a continuous light source it light switch needs to be at position 2.
Hope this solves the problem Andrew Reed
