Hi Stoney,

sorry, I don't think the front 'spoiler' is similar enough between the 850 and V70 for the towing eyelet grilles to be a straight swap.

Sorry for being slow on the player, but I ended up rigging a 12V power supply this evening (the battery is now flat) and played first a CD head cleaner then a selection of tracks from a normal CD - no skips at all. I'll send you a PM with details if you're still interested.

Cheers, Pete

Pete, thanks for the pm, really interested, just trying to find out if they fit.

Cheers

Jez

Edit - just spoken to a dealer and they are interchangeable, so let me know if you do have them available. I could do with a drivers one too.

Hi guys,

well the engine's out (spoken for) but a few other bits are disconnected and up for grabs:

Front lambda sensor
ABS unit
Front nearside caliper (offside to follow)
Alternator
Brake/clutch reservoir
Brake master cylinder
Air box
Battery tray
Cruise control vacuum pump
Headlights
Offside headlamp wiper motor
Windscreen wiper motor assembly
Anti-roll bar
Evap canister
Exhaust manifold
Power steering pump
ECU and ECU box

Probably a few other bits which I can't remember. Shout if you want anything.

Cheers, Pete

Hey dooby, does it have climate control?

Also, do you know if its possible to remove the motors from the side mirrors as mine are faulty. If they work.

Cheers

Justin

Hiya,

just sent you a PM but I've since checked, and the driver's side wing mirror motors are broken I'm afraid. The plastic gears on the motor shaft appear to be cracked.

It does look as though you can replace just the motors - you may have to remove the door trim to get the wing mirror off (well, to get the wiring connector undone more to the point). With the mirror assembly off, you can unscrew the motor. You'll either have to figure out how to release the pins from the connector or cut, solder and heat-shrink wrap the replacement wiring.

The passenger one seems fine, just the driver's side that took a fatal knock by the looks.

Cheers, Pete
