A pal of mine has fitted my bluetooth handsfree in the 1999 T6 but was unable to locate the cable that mutes the radio upon incoming calls.
As you can imagine, it's a real pain to determine whether the actual call has been disconnected after finishing speaking resulting in the "Please hang up" where it hasn't automatically disconnected. Whereas when the system was in the old car, the radio would automatically come back on after the call ended so there was never a problem. Volvo Orpington are unable to solve the problem so any advice from fellow members knowledgeable in such things, i.e. colour or mposition, would certainly be appreciated. Thanks very much. Allen |

There is not a cable to do this directly. You need the AEM (accessory module), which is fitted as standard to 2003 models on. Alternativey I know people rig up a relay to disconnect the speakers. I've learnt to live with it!
