CHM s620
Hi
Sorry I need to know as well. Just picked up a V70 25Lt 20V XLT T with cd changer in rear and cannot get the front to acknowledge it. Any ideas for both. Cheers John |

Should it not just play them? my 850 has a multi in the boot and that plays Mp3`s cdr`s etc no problem, have you tried a cleaner disc?

Chm s620
Hi and thanks
I have checked the connections. CHM > blue extension> Alpine / Volvo connector> head unit (802). CHM gets power to extract CD cassette carrier when poked manually. Just thought I'd get the chance to select CD. 6 CDs loaded BTW. Any more help please? Ta JOhn |

Another suggestion.................
If you have an mp3 player or Ipod with your music on. You could just get one of those 'sender' units that connects to Ipod (or mp3) and feeds from ciggy lighter socket. Tune the radio to an un-used frequency, match that frequency on the 'sender' & 'bobs your dad's brother' I know that means you've got an expensive unit sat there unused, but it's just a thought.............. Both of my cars, 850 & 240 have only radio/cassette players, so this method of 'blastin' is great for me (save for the 240 needing a speaker upgrademe).
