Default fuel air mix adjustments on webber carb (CVT)

hello everybody,

thanks to all of you how have helped me on the irregular running probs.

i now have some what different question:
how can i adjust the air-fuel mix on my webber carb?

i used to have mini's they had a big screw under the carb wich adjusted the main jet. any such thing on my webber???
any pictures and "how things work" documents are also welcome

Erm, I dunnom really. Halfords do them for about 15 quid, it really is good value, compared to the money you save.

Just had a look on Amazon and the 340 manual is apparently out of print - I`ll look out for a spare one for you theo.

Re your carb adjustment: It really depends on what type of carb you have as they have the adjustments in slightly different positions - yours may also be different as, if I recall correctly, your car had extra emissions control equipment fitted.

Perhaps you could post a picture of your carb (probably best from the left - facing forward - the area where the thin white plastic tube to the electronic ignition connects) and we can take it from there.

there are plenty of manuals on ebay for about £3 search under automotive category
