It certainly will drop straight into your car, but you will also need to swap the wiring loom and ecu. As far as I know the drivetrain is the same so no probs there. The glt may have uprated suspension so more swaps there. It will keep you out of trouble for a good while.
Oh just thought electric fuel pump as well.

Just had another thought, put a new clutch in while the engine is out. These cars have a torque tube with gearbox at the rear and doing the clutch means dropping the back axel or taking engine out.

Hi Ian.
The idea of putting a new clutch in the car while the engine is out is a good one. If you donn't and the clutch goes at a latter date, it is a big job to do.
You are definatly a man of courage.Well done and good luck.
Cheers Mark.

Thanks Mark.

Either "a man of Courage" or a complete fool, who knows? but I think it will be a good project and I hope it won't take to long.

I have at last got a few job interviews lined up after sending out loads of spec letters, so hopefully I will be able to start the project soon, as finances should be in place.

Ian.
