Hi Jack
Thought you might spot this one! It will need recommissioning (all new rubber seals, new tyres, new brakes and all fluids, etc) but the parts are all available and it's very much worth doing if the car is not rusty and genuinely good nick. If it has an oil cooler for the auto box built into the radiator, take care. BEFORE the engine's started up, or it's towed any distance, check for signs of ATF in the coolant and vice versa. If the pipes inside the radiator have rusted during storage, the auto-box could ingest a mixture of water, rust and ATF... which it will not take kindly to. Let me know if you find out more about it. I'm always keen to hear about newly discovered 164s. John |

Thanks for that info John - I will try to keep my wits about me and not let heart over-rule the head!
Haven't heard anything from the vendor as yet though...... Cheers Jack |
