Forgot to mention before but they made quite a difference. The bass is a lot clearer now which is what I wanted.

Just got to find some way of putting the other C70 Tweeters into the parcel shelf without destroying it + repair and fit the 4x100w amp (if I can be bothered) and then I think it will be done. Not in a hurry though because it sounds really good as it is atm :-)

Not sure if you're familiar with this but the originals for the back of an S70 were the "standard" Dynaudio fitment ones which just pop into round holes made near the seatbelt locations. The other Volvo-fitment versions all had the funny frames. I'm not sure how you'd do it neatly...

I've not touched mine so far this year :-( I'm teetering on the edge of buying a V70 R...but if I don't, I have a couple of spare weekends coming up, so I'll aim to get the 8s put in. I already have some frames roughly cut out of MDF...I just need to finish them off!

cheers

James

Late night last night? Or up early?

I didn't notice any holes near the seatbelts for the tweeters (but tbh I wasn't really looking for them). Any idea if the wiring is there already? If not I suppose I could easily run wires from the big speakers and use crossovers if necessary.

The best thing would be to get a grey parcel shelf to mess with, anyone got a spare for cheap?

I need to get my heater matrix sorted first though :-((

Up late...although I'm usually up quite a bit later than that!

You're supposed to cut the holes out. I have no idea where I saw this...but I think I may have the Dynaudio kit fitting instructions lurking somewhere on my PC. No, the wiring isn't there.

cheers

James
