Service Indicator - How does it work?
Can anyone tell me how the service indicator works?
Is it purely mileage based or does it take other factors into account? (For info, the car is one of the last of the V70 Classic models but has the later ETM engine and 5 speed autobox). Cheers.

It comes on after 10000 miles , or 1 year or 750 engine hours which ever comes first .
All these variables can be programmed , but those are the correct intervals for your car .. When the service light is reset , the counters start from 0 again ..
