Volvo Specialist in Midlands
Mark Squire (formerly of Asgard Volvo) has his own place at Burntwood Business Park - 01543 672247- I new mark when he was at Asgard and was OK - haven't needed to use him since but worth talking to.

C P Motors Polesworth ***Excellent***
I trusted my cambelt, tensioner, pulleys and aux belt change to these guys today and can't recommend them enough - very friendly, arrived at 09:05 and left at 11:15 - all for £230.
I got 3 quotes for exactly the same service all using genuine Volvo parts and CP were the cheapest by some margin - £30 cheaper than a Volvo Dealer in Nottingham and £100 cheaper than an independant specialist in Birmingham. So this coupled with the recommendations on this thread made my decision for me, even though they are 30 miles from me, well worth the trip. I could even have had a hire car for the cost of any petrol used but took a walk into Polesworth instead, nice bacon sandwich at cafe in village. Hope this helps Regards Andy B

CP motors again
another one for CP motors, broke down at 4pm they waited round till i could get the car to them about 6.30 pm. they had a courtesy car waiting for me. they looked at the car the following day and ordered the parts. they did not mind me phoning them for an update cant fault the work they have done. and a great bunch of people.
Thanks Paul |
