Default Allways check?

Glad you had the problem sorted.

Maybe it's a lesson to allways check that tyres and other items are correct before leaving the premises.

I'm still amazed a proffesional could make a mistake like this.

On the subject of "budget" tyre brands, some are very good value, others are awful quality, A few dodgy brands have emerged over the last few years but are quickly sussed by the trade and boycotted. We don't want the hassle of replacing faulty tyres. I do know of one Chinese brand that re-emerged under a different name.

Forums like this one are great places to get advice from actual users rather than salesmen on a bonus!

I have a soft spot for Kumho at the moment - I know I have to race on them - but they have proved magnificent purchases on the 525 - coping with offroad driving and high speed motorway driving with equal ease - and they are quiet to go with it.

The premium budgets - Toyo/Kumho/Falken - are even better value than they used to be - IMHO.
