N/a 2.5 20v leaking from cam/crank seals
If you remember in previous posts I referred to what I thought was a water leak but it isn't its oil leaking from either the front cam or crank seals [sat really boringly this morning] after running the engine and cleaning off the old oil to see if it was an old leak or a new leak and suprise suprise its a new leak. I'm using 10w/40 semi synthetic oil I'm guessing I didnt notice the leak when using mineral oil as synthetic oils are thinner.
The main question is are the cam locking tools essential or could I fabricate something to lock both sprockets together while I loosen the bolts off? Depends how much room there is behind the sprockets will depend on what I can fabricate
