Default Live wire.

Hi,
I am doing an LPG conversion on my 89 estate.

I now realise it would have an awful lot easier to get it done 'professionally'. However I now know where every thing is and how it all works and know its done right. Just finishing the wiring and need pointing in the right direction on a couple of things.

I need a switched live wire, preferably in the passenger foot-well, can anyone help identify one.

Also, are the tank pump and external pump on the same circuit, as I will be isolating them with a relay. Would it be best to locate the relay upstream or down stream of the pump fuse.

Lastly where can I get a half decent wiring diagram as the one in the Haynes manual indecipherable.
