Interesting picture??????//
You sure as hell won't see it in the Owners Manual because it's certainly not a standard Volvo dashboard item. I wonder, I just wonder...... if someone, at some time, has put one of these very cheap flashing red warning lights into the dash to deter intruders, (maybe they lived in Liverpool) and it no longer flashes? The 'fuel' sticker could just be to remind the owner what fuel to use.....maybe he's had a diesel car before this one, and didn't want to risk an expensive wrong fuel mistake. having said that I'd have put it by the fuel filler myself? See if you can see where the wires are connected, because my best guess is that they are probably going straight to the battery, and you could disconnect it. It's nothing to do with Volvo or Unleaded fuel, that's for sure. I wouldn't worry about it at all. Either ignore or disconnect it.

finally got ahold of person who sold me the volvo. He said quote it is the viper security system. Remove the red wire to battery. Wrong. Toggle does not even shut it off. Anyone ever deal with a viper security to disconnect it? Not working properly light just stays on ans on and on. Want to discount it until more time to figure out its malfunction.
