940 Exhaust manifold support bracket
I was investigating an engine rattle when I discovered a bracket from the exhaust manifold was sitting in the PS pipework. Its a T piece that bolts onto the block and braces the bottom of the exhaust manifold.
Its next to impossible to get the bolts back in nevermind find some replacements. Do I really need this, or will the manifold crack eventually? I will get it back on at some point, but some stuff has to come out, like maybe the turbo. car is 1995 940 2.3 SE Turbo. |

remove it and forget about it. I have a much heavier turbo hanging on the exhaust manifold and have had no issues with it at all.
