Default 940 Exhaust manifold support bracket

I was investigating an engine rattle when I discovered a bracket from the exhaust manifold was sitting in the PS pipework. Its a T piece that bolts onto the block and braces the bottom of the exhaust manifold.

Its next to impossible to get the bolts back in nevermind find some replacements. Do I really need this, or will the manifold crack eventually? I will get it back on at some point, but some stuff has to come out, like maybe the turbo.

car is 1995 940 2.3 SE Turbo.

remove it and forget about it. I have a much heavier turbo hanging on the exhaust manifold and have had no issues with it at all.
