Rain sensitive wipers
Red Dwarf is now a week old and wife has stolen it for the night so I dont have the manual.
Only one thing evades me at the moment and that is to have the rain sensitive wipers on all the time (active rather than wiping if you see what I mean). Each time I start the car up I have to press the button on the stalk to activate them. Is it possible to have them on all the time so I dont have to engage my brain and let them wipe when ever it rains? |

I dont think it's possible, I just press when rain starts then forget, the wipers will wipe at will, and even go into hyper wipe when it chucks it down. So not too taxing for the old grey matter and you can concetrate on driving in the wet.
Hope this helps.

No, I cant find a way to do this. I dont think it is possible.
but I know what you mean. My last car (a Jag)(also a Ford Made car) had permanent rain sensitive wipers. Even my wifes previous car (Kia Sedona) had a permanent setting. I like the feature and agree that it doesnt take much to turn on each time, but I really wish it was on permanently. |

Mine go berserk every now and then and I have to deactivate them despite the rain falling at the same rate. I then reactivate and all is fine again before repeating the cycle!

The intermittent wipe adjuster changes the sensitivity of the wipers as well (or it appears to, and used to on my other cars).. I just turn it down when they go mental.
