  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way
  • AOL Customers: Make sure you check the 'Remember me' check box otherwise the AOL system may log you out during the session. This is a known issue with AOL.
  • AOL, Yahoo and Plus.net users. Forum owners such as us are finding that AOL, Yahoo and Plus.net are blocking a lot of email generated from forums. This may mean your registration activation and other emails will not get to you, or they may appear in your spam mailbox

Default Can you check the gearbox oil level?

Is it possible to do this yourself and if so is there a simple 'how to' on the topic as I cannot find anything in the xc90 forum?

If you mean the ATF level.

Yes - there is a little yellow dipstick down the front of the engine

yep the autobox oil level/atf level. Where abouts is the little blighter located please?

Open the bonnet and look down the front of the engine. To the right and down from the engine oil one.
I have the 163 - dont know if the 185 is different.

I have a 185 and I can't see it where you indicated, so it must be different. Still looking.....

Check out Magni's post of 13th April - AWD Transmission - this has pictures = think both D5's are the same.
