Default Volvo P1800 Needed for TV Appearance

Hi all,

I'm part of the production team for Wheeler Dealers. As part of the new series we're featuring a '68 P1800 S. For those of you not aware Wheeler Dealers is a program where we buy iconic cars, fix their faults and then sell them on for a profit.

At the beggining of the episode we always film a 'pristine version' of the featured vehicle. This is to show the viewer how good the vehicle can look and what we're trying to achieve by the end of the program.

As such we need a P1800 to film that is in good condition (possibly having undergone a resto). If you have such a car and want to have it featured on TV, please PM with your availability over the next three weeks. We would only require you for half a day and would supply a DVD of the finished program after its aired as a memento.

Look forward to hearing from you.

Would have thought that you would use Mike Brewers car as that had had a full restro done on it.

Its something we have considered, although it is exactly the same colour as our Volvo and we like to have a bit of variety in the cars throughout the programme.

hmmmm.. not the biggest restore i've ever seen...

except for painting the rocker cover, the rest of the stuff they've listed is pretty much day to day running costs.

They used my car as the 'pristine' car, had it for nearly a day.
was filmed at Longcross near London but despite the distance no offer of compensation; even petrol costs. I would have turned it down but it would have been nice to be offered. They did buy me a sandwich though
Show is sold all over the world.
