Stereo/DVD: - wireless headphones

just wondering is it possible to buy any wireless headphones and a transmitter to use with the rse in 2003 xc90 (10 disk) or is it not just as simple as that help appreciated.

They won't all work. Check out the Wants section. There is a lot of dicussion and pointers to the right ones there. Also you can buy them from elliott2.

Just installed a single fold down RSE 2 weeks back (original Volvo by Volvo). It came with 2 wireless headphones. I've purchased two more on Ebay (probably from China) for the third row. Works like a charm.

Apparently, one of the last few fold down RSE for XC90 when it was shipped from Sweden to Australia.

Heard Volvo don't make them (single fold down LCD) anymore(?) for the XC90.
(Don't like the headrest type caused will lose the removal storage feature between the front row seats).

The UK version of 2003 XC90 has the DVD player under the rear floor with screens in the headrests and not all headphones will work with it. I have the dud ones to prove it!

yes that is were mine is the headphones have 863 mhz on the side i take it that any new ones have to opperate at that range

Yes, but they won't all work, even if the stated range is correct.

I'm afraid I don't know why that is.
