Silly boy George, I meant into Europe from the UK and out of Europe to the UK. Geographically we are part of Europe, it is just the politicians trying to make pea soup out of potatos as usual.

All the best, Peter

NIge,

I didn't realise that Ing were in the UK. I first saw it when I came to Holland and thought what a weird name. Fitting though whenever you get a red letter through you can say it's from the '----ing bank again!'

Hi Stu,
ING are recent to the UK and currently offer 4.3% which is fairly good as its on all amounts,no minimum ,and intant access. (Not really true of course as the only way to get cash out is to transfer it to another bank account which takes 4 days.) Cheers Nige PS Im glad to say that the days of nasty letters from banks are hopefully over. I use the COOP bank in the UK as they still maintained the value that the customer was a person.
What a pity that in the past I closed accounts with the NATWEST because (long story) they treated me as a number. If banks are going to treat you as a number they may as well pay you high interest. Cheers Nige
