Default towbar wireing

just wondering if you can scotch lock into the loom on a 2002 v70 t5 just for the 7 pin socket for the lights ? or will it cause any damage?

I can't say it wouldn't work, but it's not advisable to tap in to the wiring loom like that. The bulb monitoring system would go belly up! By the spare wheel there's a multi plug. And about 35 quid buys you a nice plug in unit, ready to attach your socket to.

Now, a P1 V70 SE auto, bi-fuel, but the gas tank's been removed. Why??

just been on the sight suggested ,but they only go from 00 /04 would this kit fit my 1999 phase one?

Yes you can scotchlock them in, and everything works fine.

But you need to know what you are doing, a mobile installer did mine.
