Default V50 new remote key fob

All,
how difficult and expensive is it to add an additional key fob to my car?
Is it a trip to Volvo to have it programmed?

I'm thinking of picking up one or two of the latest styles (with the 5 buttons) and wondered about effort and cost.

Any advice?
Thank you!
Jason.

Hi Jonnie, I have the same key fob as you but take a look at this one.
Maybe it is possible to do a transplant rather than a re-code?
I do like the new keys!!

Jasonb,

I have the new key and I find they they are not very durable the surface that you press stretches and after a while look old and worn. Both my keys are going that way.
