Yep, they look about the same!
I'm not 100% certain until they arrive. I'll look and see how flexible they are as I might try and reduce the gaps some what. I believe you can cut them shorter at the end (reduce number of SMD's). I may just try and install in a similar position as your own but with a hockey stick type bend on the inner side of the grille. Black on black would make it an obvious choice. Alternatively, I would need to see how the headlamps site against the bumper, is there a chance of installing on the lower front edge of the headlamp? I have the same kind of SMD's in my house and to be honest, the wiring is very low grade and easy to manipulate, providing each SMD gets the appropriate voltage, you can do much with them. |

The headlamps are flush with the bumper so unless you stick it to the actual headlamp or mount it inside the headlamp (take apart?)?
I think shortening and affixing to the fog insert maybe (are they self adhesive on back)? I wonder how long they will last in the wet - are they completely sealed. Might try this myself - the existing ones are good but not as bright - might go for a bit more 'bling'. |
