Economy - yes, really. You have to work for it, but I can get 55+ on a run.
Solidity
Reliability - in 3.5 years, the only thing to go wrong with mine was the front parking sensors - and they were a dealer-fit extra.
Lights - never having to think about switching them on or off.
The sound system - upgraded to Premium.

Dislikes

Handbrake position
Erm - that's about it.

My c70 is my first volvo, had astras for last 10 years, everything is fantastic, the dolby 5.1 sound system, sofa like seats, not having to worry about leaving the lights on, beautiful lines. by the way i just love my car, and everything that comes with it

Being able to remove the entire headlamp unit by pulling a retaining bar upwards is very good design. Never seen that before. Nice suprise when I came to change my bulbs!
I've just purchased a second hand C30 T5 SE Sport as a gift for my wife and on asking "how do you change a headlight bulb?" (seeing the crowded engine bay and with consequent thoughts to mind of a friend who has to take his car to the dealer for this to be done), this feature was a nice surprise. It makes the job even easier than on my 2003 V70 which has plenty of room to get a hand in.

With the light assembly removed it also then gave me a good opportunity to check for crash damage repair and new paint.

The only problem I foresee is that having bought the car as a gift for my wife, I'm going to want to swap and have her take the V70 whenever I can! I loved it. A terrific little car with big car feel and refinement. I just need to get that blown five pot BSR PPCd like the V70 now!

Well on the basis of my V70 experience I might stretch to an IPD TCV on top of the BSR PPC!

I can't wait to pick the car up and bring it home for a proper valet* before my wife comes home from a trip abroad and finds it in the garage. If this doesn't add up to serious Brownie points goodness knows what does! The frustration at the moment is four day bank transfers and no choice to pay for a fast service from the savings account I use. Grrrrr.

*Yes, the car has already been valeted for sale, but there is valeting and there is valeting

My C70 T5

Likes

The fact they never did a R-design model.
Styling all angles.
great brakes.
nice smooth gearbox.
stupidly quite inside, it makes me drive like a granny.
fast moving electric seats.
love the design of the folding roof it always turns heads.
pop up sat nav.
sound system.
I like how you can lock all the little cubby holes.
all the extras really think there all good.
lift off over steer haha.
great heaters.
handles really well.

Dislikes

Performance.
Old fashioned dot matrix animation of the C70 when you turn the stereo on.
Seats are nice but for the price they should be the same standard of the bigger Volvo's.
both windows have a creak were they joyn in the middle.
When driving with the roof down and the windows down you hear a annoying whistle of air flowing over the mirrors.
dont like the look of the rear parking sensors the should be flush and dont stick out.
The rubber aerial should be hidden away.
