Default towing light caravan v50 drive what u think plse

Hi guys we are thinking of geting a v50 1600 drive se lux to tow out Abbey Executive 360 850kg unladen weight.:light bulb: what do you guys think ??.

we now tow with a citroen hdi 1600 with alko 1300 stabiliser with no probs 5th gear most if the time never had to go below 4th.
But i have owned the older volvos back in the 70's and found them great and would love to own a new volvo dream or what lol.

help guys plse

please don't let the c4 get to you guys i know volvo are superior

Hi,

I've just started towing with a 2.0d Powershift V50 and I am very pleased with the performance so far. Admittedly, my caravan is heavier than the one you propose towing with the 1.6 but if you check the weights etc are not excessive you should not have any problems.
