Default Engine Judder/Stutter

Have an issue with our S40 where the engine was juddery/stuttery when cold. Once running for a few miles and the engine is warmed up it is pretty much silky smooth.

The EGR Valve was replaced a couple of months ago and if I was being honest while this obviously got the car working (as it wouldnt even start)there may have still been a very slight judder even after that was replaced. We went away on holiday so didnt do anything about it at the time.

We took the car back to the garage last week for them to do a cold start and check this stutter/judder. They said that the one of the injectors were leaking and therefore replaced the seals on all the injectors I believe.

We picked the car up yesterday and it did seem ok however I started it up this morning and the judder/stutter is 10 times worse. The only thing I can think here is that it had been started earlier in the day when we picked it up.

Its going back to the garage on Monday for them to look at again however I am losing a bit of confidence in them.

The car is still under a used car warranty and it is an 05 Plate.

Has anyone come across these symptoms before and know what it could be?

Thanks

I probably won't be able to provide an answer to the judder, but no-one is going to be able to help without knowing what engine you're talking about.

If they've replaced the seals on the injectors then it might be worth checking all the injectors are tight. Someone on here found a loose bolt on his and it solved all manor of problems. I'll try to find the post as it had a pic as well.
